At RBF, there are no guests or employees. It's our community, family, and place of safety for everyone.
I made one promise to myself as I began this passion project, and it is this:
Life is hard. Everyone is struggling in their own way. And in the midst of just surviving, we are pushed to look on the bright side, fake it 'til you make it, and freaking good vibes only level of toxic positivity. In the deepest part of our souls, I truly believe humans simply need to be seen, be heard, and have their feelings validated.
I think people need to speak up, tell their stories, and actively listen to one another. Our experiences shape who we are and who we want to become.
With that being said, and as we all move forward together, RBF will have a zero-tolerance policy on hate, and we will be inclusive for everyone, regardless of gender identity, race, ethnicity, disability, age, or sexuality.
This will not be a place where your server takes bullying as the backlash of your tough day. Our staff doesn't control pricing or inflation. Don't make them take responsibility for that. It will also not be a place of intimidation or superiority from our staff. Let's talk about what is bothering us, the root of our frustrations, and how we help one another.
When we ask, "How are you," I hope you know we are ready for you to answer authentically.
It's time to build a tremendous community of people who uplift one another rather than bring each other down.
The most asked question I get is about when we will be open. The second most asked is WHAT IS RBF AND WHY ARE YOU NAMING A WINE BAR AFTER IT?!
Funny story yet important topic. I made an entire website about it! It's so much more than having the B word in a business title. Reach out with questions, dear friends.
