Food allergies are taken seriously. Please be aware there are nuts in the kitchen. We do have separate cutting boards and knives for gluten-free items. Living Wage Employment Model

RBF team members earn an hourly wage commensurate with Wake County’s suggested living wage. As is customary in most restaurants, tipping at RBF is optional. The team does receive 100% of the tips you choose to share.


You may notice items on our menu are priced nominally higher than other food and drinking places. This covers the higher wage ensuring our team can support themselves if tips are not offered… and to help each maintain a comfortable quality of life amidst rising societal turmoil. RBF pours 7 oz. of wine whereas many corporate restaurants pour 5 oz. and most independent restaurants and bars pour 6 oz. And, because they’re designed to be shared, our food portions are more robust.
